Why has my toe been hurting for a really long time?

Like, two weeks ago, I hurt my toe by slamming it into the couch. It felt horrible and was slightly bruised. Then, about a day later I hurt it AGAIN by getting it stuck between where the door stops and the floor starts and it was bruised a little more. Well, in school about two days later I went to my school nurse and she gave me ice for it and she told me that toes usually heal in a day or two so the only thing she could give me was ice. It has been hurting for about three weeks now and when I walk on it, it gives me a MAJOR pain! So, after recess one day, It hurt terribly! i went back to the nurse by then and she said, "If you didn't just hurt it, then you need to get over it!" THAT IS NOT WHAT SHE SAID LAST TIME! It hurts when I bend it... and this is a problem, because I walk on my tippy toes.. What is wrong with my toe???
