What exactly does the Catholic term sedevacantist mean?

Some traditional Catholics think that the apostolic succession has been tampered by the Vatican since this or that Pope died and so they consider the Papal throne to be 'legally vacant'. It's an extremely minority position but sometimes you meet one of these. Check the link.
