This guy is rude but nice too...?

So there is this guy at school who will sometimes stand up for me and be all nice but then other days he's so rude and mean!! We know each other pretty well.This has been going on for years!!!! He seems to be rude in front of his friends but nicer when they aren't there...... Hmmmm does he like me??? Also he acts nice to all other girls:(
