Strengthening a door panel?

The vehicle is a 93 grand marquis, so after 17 years and 90,000 miles of slamming the doors the inside trim/panels (all one piece) has developed some flex and noises. All of the clips are strong and the panel fits tight around the edges however if you look at the center of the panel while you shut the door there is quite a bit of flex. I really want to fix this but not sure how to go about it. I thought about screwing it down at different points but I dont want them to show and there really isnt a good place for the screws. I thought about reinforcing the back of the panel but not quite sure how I would do that. If anyone has experienced this issue (with any car) and found a decent way to cure it please feel free to chime in. Keeping everything to appear stock is a must, the interior is flawless except for this.

Dental pain,tooth extraction,dentist didnt beleive me that anesthetic didnt work,now left in agony?

im so upset have just got home from my local out of hours dental surgery,had a top tooth that had broken off and i was experiencing a lot of pain,wanted an extraction,he gave me 3 lots of anesthetic jabs waiting 20 Min's between each jab,,in between sticking a probe deep into the tooth,making me nearly leap through the ceiling,he was clearly annoyed with me and said he had given me enough to knock out a bull elephant,,my tongue ,inside and roof of mouth was numb but not my tooth,the final time he took me back in the room i tried to explain that when i have had other teeth removed it was pain full even after the anesthetic but grit my teeth and got on with it,,he put these pliers things in my mouth and as soon as the metal touched my tooth it hurt,,he pushed up and i heard a crack,i then screamed i have never known pain like it,,,he sat the chair up and has sent me home with a prescription for some antibiotics,,the tooth is still in ,,pushed up,,what am i going to do,,dont think the anesthetic works on me,,i dont want to go back,,he didn't care was horrible,,i have a lot of pain now,,big hole in my tooth i dont know if i can go to the hospital,,i cant last with this pain its killing me,,im not registered with a dentist this was emergency clinic,,please if anyone can advise me ,,why doesn't anesthetic work on me,,what am i to do,,

How can I convince the dad that a pacifier will be ok?

I have a 2.5 week old baby girl-- and her dad does not want her to have a pacifier at all!! Why can't I get a straight answer from Sony?

When I purchased my PS2 I had the God of War game with it.I got to the end level on god mode and all I had to do was kill Ares and unlock other features.The disk would not load.No message just not loading.I purchased God of War 2 and that won't load at all.I contacted Sony who told me that because the disks are double layered they may not play on my console. I contacted Sony consumer dept. who emailed me instructions on how to put a disk in properly and how to clean it. These games are made by Sony for Sony consoles.But if they won't load or stop playing half way through I think that is a bit of a rip off.I contacted them again and was basically told to buy a new console.Their website lists games that may not play but God of War is not one of them.Has anyone else had any problems of the same ilk?

If you stain them a dark color it will make the room look smaller. You can sand and refinish scratches with a very fine grit of paper, clean with a tack rag and then apply your finish. You will find that several brands have a polyurethane in them that will protect the cabinets for long use. Best bet would be to match your existing wood work such as trim and even carpet, take samples in to a local hardware store along with a door front from the cabinets (one that might have the most damage) and have them give you a good opinion of what can be done. I visited there some years before their big earthquake, and a pastor took me from the airport to stay in his house. He didn't even know me. All he knew was from a translator I met on the plane. Without any questions, he gave me a room to sleep in that night, and let me speak in his Church. And he fed me WONDERFUL FOOD the time I was there. Magnificent people I miss so much I fear died in the wreckage of the quake.

Joining the Marine Corp -- MEPS?

I'm attempting to join the Marine Corp right now and I'm worried I may not p the IST and/or weight requirement at MEPS. I'm sure I can p everything else as far as the medical exams and physical, but surprisingly the IST may be the show stopper for me. How to wire a single pole switch/outlet unit...?

Well its impossible to see the markings on that device, so I'm basing this solely on what I can see in the photo. You should have two sets of wires coming into your box where the old double outlet was. One black/white/green from the fan, one black/white/green from the breaker box. The wire coming from the breaker box is your hot source. Connect Both green wires together on the ground lug on the new combo device via pigtail. Hook the source black to the dark screw on the one side (Left in the photo) next to the receptacle, with a jumper going from that screw to the darker screw on the other side next to the switch, and connect the black wire from the fan lead to the other dark screw on the left side next to the switch. Take your power source white and connect it together with the white wire from the fan, and connect to the Upper screw on the right side next to the receptacle. This should work if the switch is designed the way I think it is. What should happen is that your supplying both source leads to the receptacle which is desired so its always hot. The hot lead (black) to the fan should not get power unless the switch is on which will complete the circuit. The white is simply tapping the ground side and is always connected irregardless of the switch position.

About a year ago the man that I loved with all my heart told me that he wanted me to go on with my life to find someone that would love me. Irrigation back-flow preventer leak?

Have been using system for a month and all of a sudden the white plastic piece on the bottom of the back-flow preventer is leaking quite steadily. If your buying a laptop for that price, you're sacrificing quite a bit and your only going to get pissed off after awhile and will wish you hadn't saved more for a higher end one. When it comes to technology try not to skimp, if you have too then aim for the middle price never for the low end. Mac's are great except their not really made for gaming, you can game its just that there's games that wont run on this system. Also Ive found that the MAC support is awful (just my opinion and what Ive experienced) not to mention they are higher priced. I like HP and their support is outstanding!..I touch on support because you will find out its very important if you don't know this already...the thing is you have to do the research yourself. everyone has an opinion on why one is better then the next but you have to figure out what it is your going to be using it mostly for and then pursue that route..Again a laptop for that cheap is only going to cause you headaches..save more money and get a better one, you'll thank yourself for waiting.

Svchost.exe memory issues in Windows 7?

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate x86 on a home-built Phenom II X4 with 4GB of RAM, and my memory usage is steady at about 40%. In Task Manager, svchost.exe is using upward of 90-100K of memory. I've looked around and it turns out this was a widespread problem in XP, and Microsoft had a fix for it, but I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to try and use an XP fix. What is going on and what should I do?

first of all, i have to give you a big hug and a big pat on the back for pumping even though he wouldn't latch. most moms would just go to formula!! Good job! Second, I feel your pain. I had 2 premature babies that were not able to latch cause they were so small. I pumped for the first year of their lives. After a while, your supply just dosen't cut it anymore. The pump, no matter how great and expensive it was just does not stimulate your the same as the baby would. You hit a peak and that is pretty much it! I tried the same things you have, fenugreek, mother's milk tea 5 times a day, everything! what did seem to help was pumping more often, like every 2 hours. It will take a day or so, but it might help some. Also, try not to stress about it cause stress will make you dry up very quickly. Take a really warm shower and then pump as soon as you step out, heck i even pumped in the tub! The warm water helps you produce. Try skin to skin contact with the baby, that helped me some. I can tell you, if the supply dosen't seem to pick up and you have to supplement, you have done an excellent job to come this far! I know it will be tough, but try not to feel guilty about it. You have done more that most would! Try not to supplement though, because the more you supplement, the less milk you will have. So, in the end, warm compresses or warm baths, skin to skin contact with baby, happy thoughts, an plenty of fluids. I know it's not much, but maybe something will work!! Good luck and good job super mommy! OH YEAH! I almost forgot!! When I had this problem with my second child, my DR gave me a prescribtion for REGLAN. It is for acid reflux, but one of the side effects is that it causes lactation....and it works ALOT! I had more milk than I knew what to do with! Ask your Dr about it! do some research on the net and have print outs for him to read so he will know what you are talking about, I don't think alot of them know about it. Good luck again!

When is y considered a vowel?

I'm not sure it's considered a vowel ONLY when there is no other vowel in the word. I'd say it's considered a vowel when it is used as and pronounced like a vowel. This mostly happens in foreign-origin words (often from Greek, where y is a vowel). Examples would be sybaritic (pronounced as if it were spelled "sibaritic") or rhyme (pronounced as if it were spelled "rime").

You're weak on QB's but the rest of your team is solid. What do I do about infected testicles?

If at all possible, you should take you kitty to the vet right away!! I work at an animal hospital, and I would not recommend waiting that long. First of all, he is probably in pain. Second, if he was neutered then he has no testicles. So there must be something else that is painful and bloody. It is possible he is on his way to having a urethral blockage. If this is the case, then it is a life threatening emergency and he could die within hours once he is blocked. He could also have a UTI. Again very painful. You should not make him wait in pain for that long. Animals are very good at concealing pain, so it may not always be obvious when he is in pain. Also, if he has some kind of infection going on in his urinary tract, waiting too long can lead to a kidney infection and possibly permanent kidney damage. Whatever it is, you really should take him to the vet ASAP!!! I'm sure you have done everything right. Sometimes this stuff just happens. But you should not wait for 3 days, That is just too long. Please take him to the vet!!!!!!!! If finances are a concern, most veterinary offices accept Care Credit. It's a credit card and as long as you make your minimum monthly payments, there is no interest. spending $300 or under you will have 3 months to pay it off. Hyperdunk or TS commander?

I'm a big guy (15 6'5 300lbs 15% BFP) and I'm still growing. I'm just wondering what would be a better shoe for me this basketball season? From what I understand the commander is not very good for the big guys, and the hyperdunk is the best out for post players. Any suggestions? My 10 month old is getting sick of the supermarket foods, what sort of meals could i make him?

We usually give our son a big jar of food (204g) for his dinner, sometimes a small can too (120g). Lately he has been going off these supermarket foods as he gets the same ones over and over again because they dont stock a large variety of flavours. So i have been giving him as much of a jar as i can and then i make him bread with some spread on it. He will sometimes eat 2 pieces but tonight he only ate 1 and a small tin and a little bit of a big jar. He will pretty much eat everything, but i need meals that are quick and easy to make or that i can sort of just put on and they cook themselves. He is starting to get anxious if i leave the room and he starts crying (real tears, not crocodile tears) so i hate having to leave him in his play pen for too long. The management at my work is backwards. This one manager,in general...we'll call him Jim. This morning my manager, Jim, came in with the determination to "make one of the girls cry". he does this a lot and calls us "bitches". tells us "get to work you lazy pieces of sh*t" and rambles on about how hes "so sick of this crap" "hes gotta buckle down!" Any complaint you can think of,he blurts it. With a lot of the F word thrown in between. He acts like hes just kidding and puts a sarcastic tone in his voice,but really I think he really means it deep down. He decided he was going to make me "cry" today and proceeded to mess with me a majority of the morning,before opening,until I had it and he officially put me in a bad mood. I snapped,gave him an attitude and he backed off,I guesss. I did my best to ignore it and laugh it off. If I did laugh and try to keep a smile on my face he'd say something like "what the fuhk are you laughing at?!" regardless, this is my manager. I'm a server,I work in a restaurant and if you've ever worked in a restaurant you'd understand you can get away with a lot of horse play and bad language. Later on that day, I got written up. The first table of the day got sat. I went and greeted them and this man told me he cant even tell me what he wants to drink because the music is so loud he cant even think. I said, I'll get my manager to turn it down for you. Walked away, and told my manager...whose been messing with me all morning...table 35 wants the music louder! as a joke,of course. sense we seem to be just joking this fine morning. I tell him later, like 30 seconds "later" they want the music turned down and its too loud for him. I was joking. He didnt find it funny. He calls for a shift meeting and doesnt bother to turn the music down. one minute later,during the meeting the tables walks out. this was all within two minutes. this table didn't even give us a chance to turn it down. they got up,yelled at the hostess and left. I was written up and now im a little weary I may loss my job,over something so silly. I dont know what to tell my general manager besides it was a joke gone bad and a few very cranky people who came to dine at the fine establishment, Applebees. I just dont understand why my manager can screw with his employees all day and nothing comes of it and then someone does it back and now im about to lose my job. I've been there for a year. I work very very hard. I've called out three times in the past 450 days i've been there. I told him, if you write me up I'll most likely lose my job here. He told me "I hope you do". Should I make a police report on this small business?

My husband withdrew money out of a small businesses ATM. It was a alterations place, to be exact. When trying the transaction the first time it said there was a communication error. When asked by the business owners son what to do he said everything is fine and to try the transaction again. My husband did and the money went through and he got the money out and paid for the stuff. When I checked our account that night I noticed that the money was taken out twice on our online bank statement and the atm listed was the small business ATM.... When contatced about getting our money back from the business they gave us the run around for two days now saying "I'll give you your money at this time" and every time we went to pick it up at their business they either didn't have our money, or the person authorized was not there. When calling again about it we were put back on the phone with one of the business owners telling us he was not going to refund it that I have to take it up with the bank to get our money back, that they didn't have it. He admitted that on the ATM record, it supposedly "sucked the money back in" and that it was not on record on the ATM it was withdrew.... but on our Printable bank statement it clearly states it was and my way of thinking is just hand us the money both the ATM and our bank statement claims was taken out anyway but he won't! Our bank if going to want proof that we didn't in fact receive the money from the ATM but how are we supposed to do that when we only received one receipt for the transaction we did receive money from... Where do I go from here to get our money back? Should I make a police report on the business because it's their machine that did not give us the money? I don't see how our bank will give us money back if on our bank statement it claims we got it with no problems when this business owner clearly KNOWS differently!

How can I actively keep a straight face when my boss tells us to relieve job stress by doing "deskercises"?

deskercises? wow, we actually had a meeting once where they showed us (and made us practice) these so-called deskercises. I felt ridiculous but in the end your boss is just trying to take care of his employees and make sure they don't end up with fatigue or muscle tension (issues with arms, wrists, etc) because that leads to time away from the office. It is nice they are thinking of you so although you might not do finger warm-ups you might want to take small breaks and walk around or do something active so your body doesn't get strained from sitting in the same position all day. We had individual ergonomic essments at our office and I even got laminated instructions of exercises. Do I do them? ha! no! but I get my hands away from the computer every now and then because i do have problems with my wrists.

Nonpartisan absentee ballot in the state of California?

Years ago, I registered as a nonpartisan permanent absentee voter. Our presidential primary, which I was looking forward to, is tomorrow. So I was dismayed to find, when I opened my absentee ballot, that I was not given a choice of candidates, only measures and propositions to vote for. Is this because I am registered as nonpartisan? There is a definite candidate I want to vote for. So will I be eligible to go to a local polling place and cast my vote? Or will it not count because I'm a nonpartisan absentee voter?

I don't know what you mean becuase I went to one my friend's profile and saw these pictures of my favorite singer crying in both of the pictures. Well I liked the picture and save them into my computer to look at them and e-mail them to my cousin. Then I put them with all my other pictures in myspace. Why has my toe been hurting for a really long time?

Like, two weeks ago, I hurt my toe by slamming it into the couch. It felt horrible and was slightly bruised. Then, about a day later I hurt it AGAIN by getting it stuck between where the door stops and the floor starts and it was bruised a little more. Well, in school about two days later I went to my school nurse and she gave me ice for it and she told me that toes usually heal in a day or two so the only thing she could give me was ice. It has been hurting for about three weeks now and when I walk on it, it gives me a MAJOR pain! So, after recess one day, It hurt terribly! i went back to the nurse by then and she said, "If you didn't just hurt it, then you need to get over it!" THAT IS NOT WHAT SHE SAID LAST TIME! It hurts when I bend it... and this is a problem, because I walk on my tippy toes.. What is wrong with my toe???
