What is your favorite artist in Jazz, and what is your favorite artist outside of Jazz?

My Favorite in Jazz is Miles Davis, out of Jazz is Jimi Hendrix. Both were searching and at the same time extending the boundaries of their styles. Neither was satisfied with being satisfied with what they had accomplished, and continued on their musical quest and at one point their paths were destined to cross, fate had other plans for them, Miles and Jimi were to get together and explore and exchange musical ideas on Sept 18th,1970, but sadly that is the day that Jimi left us. Could you imagine what might have been if they had recorded together.......Wow!!!!
