Muslim woman and you move to a western country and face haressment due to your hijab can you remove it?

Out of curiousity, can a muslim woman who has moved to a western country, remove her hijab or stop wearing it if she is facing harment from people on the streets etc on a daily basis? Can she do this and still be a good muslim? Thanks for all answers and if you can provide a website or refer to a piece of the quran that would be great.
