Let me rephrase my question about Christianity and politics?

I was listening to music and wasn't really concentrating. Is it all right for a Christian to support gay marriage or abortions, things which go against the Bible? It seems difficult to not support them without judging others or appearing hateful. Liberals will make fun of conservatives for believing in Christianity. They will not dare touch other religions; however, that's for another time. Christians have just as much of a right to believe in what they believe as any other person. It's called freedom of thought. Atheists, it is not your place to rip Christians to shreds. But back to the main point. How can Christians still cling to their faith without appearing hateful or judgmental?
