Do you think the death of a former tag partner could of made benoit tip over the edge?

I found it abit surreal that chris's former tag partner died on friday. Beef/Bif wellington real name shane bower died of a heart attack. Theses two broke into the business together and oddly enough look very much alike. Benoit and Shane weren't best friends but still keeped in contact. But do you think a loss of another firend could of tipped benoit over the edge?
